Glen Allen Johnson, 67, of Scurry passed away on January 27,2026, at home.

Glen was born on November 24, 1958 to Richard Lee Johnson and Francis Diane Poling, in McKinney, TX. He also worked alongside his brother Tommy Johnson for many years. Glen started his business, Johnson Construction services and handed the company down to his two sons. On September 30,1994, he married Debra Johnson and they spent a loving 31 years together.

Glen was a hardworking handyman and a skilled carpenter. his most precious time was spent with his family,often outdoors, loved campfires, and especially loved his time with his grandson. He would also watch old westerns and movies. Glen was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Francis.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Debra, sons: Gerett Allen Johnson and Cody Richard Johnson and wife Sarah Kiefer; grandson Grayson Miles Johnson, siblings: Ronnie Johnson and wife Brenda, Cynthia Heard, Debra May and partner Paul Thompson, Tommy Johnson and wife Carol, and Regina Neal and Husband Tony; Step sisters Betty Cagle and Millie Busby, nieces: Nicole Heard and Jennifer Dunnam, nephews, Brandon Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Dakota Dunnam, Jason Allen, Micah Allen, Dominic Macaluso, Robert Johnson, and may extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
