Scurry-Rosser ISD hosted their Third Annual ‘Touch a Truck’ event on Thursday, March 12 at Scurry-Rosser Elementary School. The event allows professionals from different careers to bring their work vehicle to the school and discuss different professions with school students and how they utilize their vehicles in their line of work. Pirates slay Dragons in dominant home win

Kaufman, Kemp soccer seasons end in Bi-district round

The Kaufman Lady Lions and Kemp Yellowjackets’ seasons came to an end in the Bi-district round of the UIL State Soccer Playoffs last week. The Kaufman girls battled against the Belton Lady Tigers on Friday, March 20 while the Kemp boys took on the Gainesville Leopards on Thursday, March 19.

The Kaufman Lions baseball squad took down the Midlothian Panthers in their district home game on Friday, March 20. Kaufman used a strong start on their way to an 8-5 victory over Midlothian.

Wildcats struggle in loss to Zebras

The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats baseball team struggled offensively against the Grandview Zebras at home on Thursday, March 19. A third-inning outburst from the Zebras led them to victory as they won 13-1.

It seems I am either making ready for my next outdoor adventure or unpacking and stowing my gear from the last outing. I imagine this is par for most folks that enjoy fishing, hunting, photographing wildlife or just about any outdoor endeavor.
