1942-2025 Harold (Mack) L. McCracken, born on July 26, 1942, in Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in his home on July 28, 2025, at the age of 83.

LaCedra Miller, who graduated from Kemp High School, is in her 24th year of coaching. She is the head coach of the high school’s girls’ basketball team, but this year, she adds head coach of the volleyball team to her duties, after being an assistant last season.
The Kemp Yellowjackets start their second year in Class 4A with a new quarterback, Nathan Dunn, said head coach BJ Rider, who is entering his fourth season at the helm of his alma mater. “I don’t have a win-loss expectation,” Coach Rider states.
