Rachel Bowen, a middle school math teacher and volleyball, basketball and track coach at Warren Middle School in Forney, has been given the prestigious Honored National Teaching Award for September 2025.
Roy Wayne Ferrell died peacefully at home from Acute Myeloid Leukemia and entered heaven on August 31st, 2025, just one day shy of his 82nd birthday. Roy was a big fish in a small pond.
