Body The Scurry-Rosser Wildcat cross country teams are in search of building a strong team culture and translating that into success under new Head Coach Ashley Neighbors- Tucker. Entering the 2025 season, Coach Tucker is in her second year as Scurry-Rosser ISD.

Body The Kaufman High School tennis program kicked off its season this past week with back-to-back matches on Monday, Aug. 4 and Tuesday, Aug.

Body Kaufman Lady Lion Kaylee Wrenn (#31) recently competed at the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star basketball game in Arlington. Wrenn is pictured during the game, as well as with TGCA representatives and Kaufman Head Basketball Coach Amy Ingram.

Body The final week of the East Texas Tennis Circuit wrapped up this past weekend. The final tournament was held at Wills Point, featuring doubles only. A few Kaufman athletes elected to compete in the event.

Body Kemp ISD hosted their summer football and volleyball summer camps July 16-17 for ages Kindergarten through sixth grade. .

Body Kaufman hosted the East Texas Tennis Tournament Circuit during the weekend of July 18-19. Doubles were played on Friday, with singles following on Saturday. Over 100 athletes competed in the tournament.

Body Kemp ISD hosted boys’ and girls’ soccer camps at Kemp High School from July 9-10. Pictured are RJ Rider, Penelope Balderas, Emilynn Morris and Liam Aguilar.

Body Kaufman’s netters were active yet again this past weekend, serving up aces and hitting winners on the court. This past week featured Crandall’s summer tournament along with a few other UTRs around the metroplex area.

Body The East Texas Tournament Circuit continued this week, featuring North Forney, Tyler, and Sulphur Springs. Kaufman’s athletes competed in the North Forney Tournament on Saturday, June 28.

Body Kaufman’s tennis athletes continue to stay active each weekend, competing in the East Texas Tournament Series. Several competed in the Forney UTR last Friday, while others battled it out at the Corsicana UTR on Saturday.
