By Bodey Cooper news@kaufmanherald.com The Kaufman Lady Lions softball squad fell to the Ennis Lady Lions in district play on the road on Friday, March 27. A rough second and third inning sank Kaufman as they fell to Ennis, 12-1.

The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats baseball team struggled offensively against the Grandview Zebras at home on Thursday, March 19. A third-inning outburst from the Zebras led them to victory as they won 13-1.

The Kaufman Lady Lions took down the Terrell Lady Tigers in their district contest on Wednesday, March 18 on the road. The two teams battled it out to the very end with Kaufman coming out victorious, 14-10.

The Kaufman Lions baseball squad took down the Midlothian Panthers in their district home game on Friday, March 20. Kaufman used a strong start on their way to an 8-5 victory over Midlothian.

The Kaufman Lady Lions and Kemp Yellowjackets’ seasons came to an end in the Bi-district round of the UIL State Soccer Playoffs last week. The Kaufman girls battled against the Belton Lady Tigers on Friday, March 20 while the Kemp boys took on the Gainesville Leopards on Thursday, March 19.

news@kaufmanherald.com The Canton Eaglettes took down the Kemp Lady Yellowjackets in dominant fashion on Friday, March 13. Canton put their bats to work on Friday as they topped Kemp, 17-2.

news@kaufmanherald.com The Kaufman Lady Lions softball team dropped their district contest to the Corsicana Lady Tigers on the road Friday, March 13. Corsicana’s offense was in full swing as they topped Kaufman, 17-5.

The Crandall Pirates were shut out 2-0 at home against the Corsicana Tigers on Friday, March 13. .

The Kemp Yellowjackets boys’ basketball team announced their All-District honors for the 2025-26 season on March 9. Kaysen Stevenson, Preston Sullivan and Zaki Brown were all named Second Team All-District.
