Body Kaufman County Grand Jury returned 43 indictments April 10. Indictment information obtained from the District Clerk’s office does not include ages or addresses of defendants.

Danny Baker Elementary sets groundbreaking

Body Crandall ISD announced the groundbreaking ceremony for Danny Baker Elementary School. District leadership and community members will be on hand for the groundbreaking ceremony, which is set for Monday, April 20 from 2-2:30 p.m. at 2165 Broken Arrow Blvd.

Kaufman County woman pleads guilty to 2024 murder

Body news@kaufmanherald.com A 41-year-old Forney woman plead guilty to the shooting death of her husband in Kaufman County. According to a press release from the Kaufman County District Attorney Erleigh Wiley’s office, Mayra Diosdado Lara pled guilty to murder in the Feb.

Kaufman girls’ golfers advance to Regionals

Body Two members of the Kaufman High School girls’ varsity golf team are advancing to Regionals. Bryleigh and Rae finished third place as a team with Bryleigh taking second overall and Rae finishing eighth overall. They both advance to Regionals in Pottsboro from April 15-16.
