Kemp High School seniors Natalie Orton (from left) and Monica Oldenkamp each receive (the Billie Jean Hannah Stingerette Scholarship, Kemp ISD announced May 26. The school district says the honor recognizes each student's dedication, leadership and commitment to the Stingerette program. The scholarship is named after the former Stingerette coach who later directed the drill team at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, the Cardettes.
