A Crandall native is stamping her name on the City of Houston and they returned the favor on April 29, 2025. Julia Morales Clark has long been a mainstay and a famous name in Houston as the in-game reporter for Major League Baseball’s Houston Astros.

Capital murder fugitive Trevor McEuen was taken into custody following the execution of a coordinated search warrant by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with multiple local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, in the early morning hours of Monday, June 2.

The annual East Texas Tennis Circuit kicked off with the Kaufman Memorial Tournament, hosted by Kaufman High School on Friday and Saturday, May 23-24. The tournament featured both singles and doubles, with participants from all over.
