“You’re only on the team because your dad is the coach.” All of us coaches’ kids have heard this one. One can let the bad-mouthing bother them or allow it to motivate them to work hard and prove they earned their spot on the team without the influence of anyone else.

As far back as I can remember, I longed to fish the re-mote waters of a ‘fly in’ lake in Canada. Public Affairs Officer United States Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Texas The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas joined the North Texas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the FBI Dallas’s North Texas Child Exploitation Task Force to announce the conclusion of Operation Soteria Shield, a monthlong collaborative enforcement effort conducted in April 2025 aimed at rescuing children from online sexual exploitation and bringing perpetrators to justice.
