Body The Crandall Lady Pirates softball squad locked up third place in the district with their win over the Red Oak Lady Hawks at home on Thursday, April 16. Crandall won a wild one as they outscored Red Oak 21-12 in their final regular season contest.

Body The team 4x100-meter relay team of Elijah Rose, Christian Scott, Jayden Scott and Matthew Clowers broke a Kaufman High School record at the District track meet on April 10. Their time of 41.98 seconds was good enough for sixth at the meet and broke a 2009 record of 42.

Body The Kaufman Lions baseball squad took down the Terrell Tigers on the road on Tuesday, April 14. In the battle of the Highway 34 rivalry, Kaufman took this contest by a score of 9-1.

Body The Kemp Yellowjackets varsity baseball team fell at home to the Van Vandals on Friday, April 10. After scoring an early run, Kemp’s offense dried up against Van as they dropped their district contest, 5-1.

Body The Kemp Yellowjackets varsity boys’ soccer team announced their All-District honors and awards on Wednesday, April 8. Senior Ruben Alanis was named the Defensive Midfielder of the Year.

Body The Crandall Pirates varsity baseball team shut out the Kaufman Lions on Friday, April 10. Before the game, Crandall honored multiple First Responders, who even throughout ceremonial pitches during the pregame ceremonies.
