Body The Kaufman Lady Lions varsity basketball team took second place in their home tournament at Kaufman High School to wrap up 2025. Kaufman had wins over Greenville (61-19), Malakoff (54-37) before falling to Grapevine in the championship, 37-35.

Body Connor Stevens of the Kemp High School Bass Fishing Team took home sixth place at the Jackpot Tournament on Dec. 6. Stevens put together a strong day on Lake Conroe, competing against 76 boats in a cashprize event outside of the regular season schedule.
