Local Terrell students recognized at FWSSR

Carson McCreary, a 4-H member of Kaufman County 4-H from Terrell, was awarded a $500 Calf Scramble purchase certificate at the 2026 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. During each of the Stock Show’s 23 rodeo performances, 20 students compete to catch one of 10 calves for the opportunity to earn a $500 heifer purchase certificate. Students who successfully complete the Calf Scramble and exhibit their heifer at the 2027 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo are then eligible to compete for scholarships ranging from $500 to $16,000.
