Kaylee Wrenn was honored for scoring 1,500 career points and for being named a McDonald’s All-American Games nominee. Kiersten Thomas was recognized for recording 500 career rebounds.

Kemp girls’ basketball honored three of their seniors before their game on Friday, Feb. 6 at home. The Kemp Lady Yellowjackets honored their senior players Makayla Miller (#23), Miranda Limon (#11) and Team Manager Sara Sanchez-Gutierrez.

Kemp hosts Anthony Miller Invitational

Kemp hosted the Anthony Miller Powerlifitng Invitational on Jan. 31 with Kemp athletes showing up and showing out at the meet. The Yellowjackets had multiple medal winners, including first-place medalists Maddox Henderson, Bree Hall, Lillie Moore, Lanceden Surratt and Abel Gallegos. Second-place finishers were June Easter and the boys’ team as a whole. Third-place finishers were Asa Buchanan and Katalina Mendoza.
