The Center breaks ground on expansion

The Center in Kaufman along State Highway 34 broke ground on the expansion of their building on Wednesday, Dec. 10. On hand at the event were members of the community and The Center’s Executive Director Richard Dunn, Board Chair Bethany Thomas Dunn, Vice Chair Russell Bryan, staff members Kami Gray Dunn and Heather Hernandez. The contractor for the construction is Ridgemark Roofing and Construction, HVAC – High Performance Heating and Air and the designer is Design One. The new expansion will include a loading dock as well as office space. Each attendee signed the first beam that will go into place. Additional photos on 2A.

Kaufman County employees once again demonstrated extraordinary generosity through their participation in the Kaufman County Child Welfare Angel Tree Program, an annual initiative supporting children who have had cases with the state during the year.
