The Terrell Garden Club partnered up with students at Kaufman ISD to plant six trees at Phillips Elementary School to celebrate Arbor Day on Tuesday, Nov. 4. The Kaufman High School Mighty Lion Band earned a trip to the prestigious UIL 5A State Marching Contest, following an outstanding performance at the Area C Marching Band Finals this past weekend. The Mighty Lions secured the second- place position at the Area competition, solidifying their spot as one of the top 5A marching bands in the area and earning the right to compete at the state level.
