Kaufman HS celebrates early gra

The Kaufman Lady Lions varsity basketball team took second place in their home tournament at Kaufman High School to wrap up 2025. Kaufman had wins over Greenville (61-19), Malakoff (54-37) before falling to Grapevine in the championship, 37-35. The Lady Lions trailed by as many as 16 points at one point before going on a 16-2 run in the fourth quarter but coming up just short. The All-Tournament team pictured are Kaylee Wrenn, Itzel Garcia and Kayden Lidy.
