The Kaufman Lady Lions varsity basketball team took second place in their home tournament at Kaufman High School to wrap up 2025. Kaufman had wins over Greenville (61-19), Malakoff (54-37) before falling to Grapevine in the championship, 37-35. The Lady Lions trailed by as many as 16 points at one point before going on a 16-2 run in the fourth quarter but coming up just short.
