news@kaufmanherald.com While still in its early stages here in Kaufman, Zipline is streamlining the city and county into the future with its drone delivery system. Speaking with Zipline Senior Communications Manager Denton Baird, the company is moving from their start as a method of delivering medicine to countries in Africa, they’re moving into the future in town, partnering with Walmart to deliver groceries to Kaufman residents.

Multiple people indicted in deadly truck crash

news@kaufmanherald.com A truck driver at the wheel that killed five people on I-20 near Terrell was indicted on multiple charges by a Kaufman County grand jury this past week. A company official for the trucking company, Hope Trans, was also indicted for felony forgery.
