Kaufman Lady Lions girls’ basketball player Kaylee Wrenn was named TGCA All-State for the second year in a row. Team Manager Claudia Salazar was named the Student Assistant of the Year for TABC.

news@kaufmanherald.com The Kemp Lady Yellowjackets softball squad dropped their home district contest to the Brownsboro Lady Bears on Wednesday, April 1. Kemp surrendered runs in every inning of their five-inning loss to Brownsboro, falling 17-3 on Wednesday evening.

The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats varsity baseball team took a close district win over the Blooming Grove Lions on Thursday, April 2 at home. Two late runs led the Wildcats to victory over the Lions, 11-8.

The Kaufman Lions baseball team fell to the Red Oak Hawks on the road on Friday, March 27. Back-to-back tough innings for the Lions in the third and fourth inning cost Kaufman as they fell to Red Oak, 9-1.
