BFTS Museum to host gardening program

The No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum presents its second annual gardening program as a public service to area residents. The program is set for Thursday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. at 119 Silent Wings Blvd. in Terrell is free and open to the public.

City of Kaufman names Watson as Fire Chief

The City of Kaufman is excited to welcome Chief Brian Watson as Fire Chief. With a strong commitment to public safety and service excellence, Chief Watson joins the city at a time of continued growth and opportunity for the Kaufman Fire Department. Chief Watson brings more than 27 years of fire and EMS leadership experience, most recently serving as Chief of the Training Division for the Shreveport Fire Department. Chief Watson’s first day with the city was January 20.
