Both of the Kaufman varsity soccer teams defeated the Kemp Yellow Jackets in District 12-4A action on Feb. 15 at Kemp High School.
The Lion women won 2-0 and the Lion men registered a 1-0 victory.
The goals for Kaufman in the girls game were scored by Kimberly Beckendorf and Natalie Martinez.
The goal for Kaufman in the boys game was scored by Nathan Martinez.
With this victory, the Kaufman boys improve to 3-2 in District 12-4A play.
This victory improves the Lady Lions to 7-5 overall and 2-4 in District 12-4A play.
Both Kaufman varsity soccer teams had district byes on Feb. 18.
