The Kaufman Lady Lions moved to 4-1 on the season, splitting pre-holiday games last week with Crandall and Caddo Mills.
Kaufman faced off with old district rival Crandall on Monday, Nov. 19, and suffered the first loss of the season, 41-24.
Kyla West hit three 3-pointers on her way to 11 points, and Kayla Sellers added nine.
Kaufman fell behind 12-5 in the first quarter and hung tough in the second quarter to trail 22-13 at the half and 31-20 through three quarters. Crandall was 6-6 free throws in the fourth quarter to help seal the win.
Kaufman came back on Tuesday to post a 44-27 victory over Caddo Mills.
The Lady Lions held Caddo Mills to just eight points through the first three quarters, including a shut out in the second period, to go in front 32-8.
Kaufman had 11 points in the first period and 24 at halftime.
Lexi Wrenn put in 13 points for Kaufman, including four baskets in the second quarter.
Jasmine Sellers scored 10 points, Kayla Sellers six and Kyla West five.
Kaufman begins the tournament season this week with the Wills Point tournament Thursday through Saturday.
The Edgewood tournament is Dec. 6-8, and Kaufman hosts its holiday tournament Dec. 27-28.
