According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Kaufman County is the third-fastest growing county in America.
Neighborhoods and businesses are sprouting up everywhere. Jobs are increasing, new schools are being built, and investors are seeking opportunities to ride the Kaufman County wave.
Recently, I said “It’s Kaufman County’s turn to experience the prosperity like we’ve seen in Rockwall and Collin County.” This is our time and we need to seize the opportunities in front of us.
Of course, we must be prepared. Growth requires infrastructure to ensure roads are suited for the additional demand, law enforcement is prepared, and county facilities are adequate to meet the needs of the people.
There is no better time than now to take advantage of record low interest rates. On Nov. 5, we are asking Kaufman County to invest in our future by authorizing the County to build roads and provide the facilities needed to serve the public. As rural land develops, we will have more than enough revenue to cover the costs. We can control the future. Vote YES on Nov. 5. It’s our turn.
