Lloyd Gayle “Sixty” Webb died on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his home in Kaufman, surrounded by his family. He was born on the Webb family farm in Kaufman, Texas on September 17, 1926 to Clarence Haggard “Doc” Webb and Ida Harkness Webb. He graduated from Kaufman High School in 1944. Sixty joined the Texas Army National Guard in 1948. He served our country for 11 years in the 36th Infantry Division. Sixty worked for Ford Motor Company for 22.5 years in Dallas, Texas. After retiring from the Ford Motor Company, he worked as a carpenter throughout Kaufman County. Sixty was also a Rancher on his family farm, which is over 100 years old. He was a Charter member of Calvary Baptist in Kaufman, Texas. Sixty will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Sixty was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald Webb, his first wife Helen and his second wife Frankie.
He is survived by his son Robert Fair and wife Rita of Kaufman, daughter Susan Arakelian of Garland, four grandchildren and their spouses, nine great-grandchildren, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
Services were held Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church in Kaufman, Texas. Graveside service followed to Kaufman Cemetery.
