Karon Lynn Carver was born on July 23, 1956 to Bobby Lynn and Irma O Carver in Magnolia, Arkansas and passed from this world into the loving arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on Nov. 2, 2019 surrounded by her family. As a young woman, she attended drafting school and worked several years in industrial construction. She later worked in the boating industry building boats for Bayliner, VIP and Baja Boats.
She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior as a young woman.
She married James R. Frierson on Aug. 5, 1989. They worked together building several successful businesses for 30 years. They first made their home at Hide Away Lake, TX, then moved to Kaufman County in 1998 and have lived their ever since.
She had two children, Jenea Frierson Goodwin and Megan Frierson Flier. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She was a person who always made sacrifices for others, even if it meant she did without. Our loss is Heaven's gain and may her giving heart be an example to us all.
She is survived by her husband James Frierson, her daughters Jenea Goodwin and her husband Grant, and her daughter Megan Flier and husband Joshua, her stepdaughter Ashley Williams, her brother Tim Carver and sister Fawn Largent, two grandchildren, Melonie and Austin Miller, and two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
Loving care and companionship from her niece Starla Taylor over the last year enriched Karon's life tremendously and enabled her to love that grandbaby Rowan Hutt and look forward to her new great grandson Quentin Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Cynthia Nugent Frierson and brother Clifton C. Nugent and granddaughter Miranda Miller.
