Kaufman FFA Ag Mechanics exhibitors steal the show at Rodeo Austin

Kaufman FFA showed six projects at Rodeo Austin on March 4 where they brought home six blue ribbons, two second in class awards, and a Reserve Champion title. After a successful run at the Kaufman County Fair, Kaufman FFA Ag Mechanics exhibitors made a trip to Austin to show their projects at Rodeo Austin on March 4. Out of six projects, exhibitors took home six blue ribbons, two second in class awards, and a Division Reserve Champion award.

Erik Krenek received a blue ribbon for his Santa Maria firepit. Juan Sanchez got a blue ribbon for his large firepit with a grill. Tori “Peaches” Preston and Bailee Eldridge brought home a blue ribbon for the metal park bench they built. Javier Dominguez and Lexi Garcia placed second in class and received a blue ribbon for their wood burning stove. Kimberly Beckendorf and Alegadro Castillo got a blue ribbon, a second in class award, and were named Reserve Champions in the Towable Cooking Equipment division for their eight-foot smoker trailer.
