After an emotional morning of testimony, Kaufman County prosecutors rested their case against Charles E. Brownlow Jr. on Thursday.
Brownlow is accused of murdering five people the night of Oct. 28, 2013, including his mother and aunt.
Brownlow's defense team did not have its witnesses available so 422nd District Court Judge B. Michael Chitty adjourned the trial until 9 a.m. Monday.
