Kaufman County Judge issues disaster declaration

On May 27, Kaufman County joined several other counties in the state when County Judge Bruce Wood issued a Disaster Declaration for the recent severe storms, flooding and the prospect of continued flooding in the county.

With this declaration and request for state assistance Kaufman County will be added to those counties included in Governor Abbott's State Disaster Declaration.
