CASA welcomes newest volunteers

Eight new child advocates for Lone Star Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) were sworn in by Judge Brett Hall on Friday, July 26. The new swear-ins include (left to right) Ann Pittsinger, Rob Sutton, Linda Wells, Denise Hart, Lynn Watters, Pam LeTourneau, Suzanne Nolen and Kacy Riley. Lone Star CASA trains volunteers to advocate for children in foster care in Kaufman and Rockwall counties. Volunteers must be at least 21, pass background checks and be able to make a year commitment to a child.
