The Kaufman Lions tennis teams performed very well at a tournament hosted by Forney High School on March 3. In fact, they dominated the competition.

The Kaufman Lions tennis teams performed very well at a tournament hosted by Forney High School on March 3. In fact, they dominated the competition.
Top performers for Kaufman at this Forney tournament were as follows:
Kayden Lengacher and Eli Frosch-- first place in the varsity boys doubles division. Lengacher and Frosch went undefeated and only surrendered five games total throughout the tournament.
Jackson Haynes-- first place in the varsity boys singles division. In the finals, Haynes defeated Forney High School’s Christian Yates via an exciting third set super tiebreaker.
Laney Sanders-- first place in the varsity girls singles division. Sanders won all three of her tournament matches in convincing fashion. She defeated opponents from Princeton High School, the Home School Athletic Association, and Garland Lakeview Centennial High School.
David Harris and Faith Harris-- first place in the mixed doubles varsity division. In the finals, they defeated the Wylie East team of Orr and Clark by a count of 6-3 and 6-2.
Diego Santoyo and Zach Bryant-- second place in the varsity boys division.
Connor Hubbert-- third place in the varsity boys singles division.
Vanessa Chavez and Natalya Morales-- third place in the varsity girls doubles division.
Lance Ivie and Samantha Sipriano: third place in the varsity mixed doubles division.
The Kaufman Lions tennis teams will next play in a Midlothian UTR tournament on March 9.
