Court setting up orders for pet mediation in divorces

It is a heartbreaking reality facing households throughout the county and country alike. As divorce rates continue to rise, pet custody disputes are becoming the newest bone of contention for battling couples.

In response, Judge Casey Blair of the 86th District Court, Kaufman County, is proposing Standing Orders to protect pets in family law cases.

Rules of Conduct
