The Democratic and Republican Primary Runoff Elections were held on May 24. 

All results listed are unofficial results as of 9:40 p.m. on May 24. Out of the 89,563 register voters in Kaufman County, 5,861 ballots were cast making a total turnout of only 6.54 percent. There were four Democratic and 15 Republican run off races.

Tommy Moore won the seat of Kaufman County Commissioner Pct. 4, receiving 1,329 votes, beating out incumbent Ken Cates who received 746 votes.
