There are now 16 active cases of COVID-19 in Kaufman County, according to a report released by the county on June 2. 230 total cases have been found in the county, with 214 presumed to be recovered. 

The reported number of cases per area are: 

  • Forney/Mesquite- 119

  • Terrell-55

  • Elmo/College Mound/Wills Point- 2

  • Kaufman- 23

  • Crandall/Combine/Heartland/ Talty- 11

  • Scurry/Rosser- 3

  • Kemp/Mabank- 17

  • Unknown- 0


114 males, and 116 females are currently confirmed to be infected with the virus.
