The First United Methodist Church-Kaufman announces its annual Pumpkin Patch opens Oct. 15 through Oct. 31.

Plan a visit now with children and grandchildren for the perfect photo opportunity and all shapes, sizes and varieties of pumpkins for sale. All proceeds support FUMC ministries of the church. 

The Pumpkin Patch will be open Monday-Friday, 3-7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday noon-6 p.m.

A special invite to all area schools to schedule a class visit that has been designed to create a fun and unique learning experience. This multi-sensory, six-station program provides music and singing, story time, tasting (pumpkin muffins and apple juice), picture taking, games and product purchase.

School visits area scheduled each school day at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon. More than 2,300 children are expected so far. Admission is free. All class visits must be scheduled in advance. For scheduling, contact the church office at 972-932-2838. Plan ahead and bring a sack lunch and enjoy a picnic on the patio under the trees after the visit to the patch.

The church is located at 208 S. Houston St, Kaufman.
