Fall festival

The Light Up the Night Fall Festival and 10th Annual Black Light Show will be Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. at Grace Fellowship, 7650 FM 1388 in Kaufman. Free recycling

A free electronic recycling event for Kaufman County residents will be held Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m.-noon or until truck fills at the Kaufman County South Annex Building, 3003 South Washington in Kaufman. Recycle computers, electronics, two TVs per household. Must show proof of residency for Kaufman County. Questions call CRS, 817-300-6958.

Toy Run benefits children’s center

The Kaufman County Heroes Foundation is teaming up with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Kaufman County for the annual Christmas Toy Run.

The 100-mile ride will be Saturday, Nov. 3, with registration at 9:30 a.m. at the Quik Trip in Terrell at State Hwy. 34 and Interstate 20.

The ride begins at 11 a.m., escorted by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Dept.

Cost is $15 per bike plus a toy to donate.
