STAR Transit is offering free round-trip rides to local polling places so Kaufman County voters can cast their ballot.

Free round-trip service will be offered Tuesday, Nov. 6 from 6 a.m.-6 p.m.

These complimentary trips apply to all fixed routes operated by STAR Transit as well as the on demand, curb to curb service.

Rides must be in the STAR Transit service area. Voters need to tell bus operators they are riding to the polls.

To schedule a ride call STAR Transit at least one business day but not more than two weeks in advance of the desired trip. Rides are based on availability.

Scheduling agents are available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at 877-631-5278.
